Today was Alias’ last day open, free gaming all day and free pizza in the afternoon. Was an awesome turnout, all the real, loyal Alias members. I was working, my last ever day :’(

Because the shop was closing, the owner was selling near enough everything. I did take this opportunity to get some stuff. I got 3 desks, 17″ TFT monitor, 16port 100Mbit switch, 4 way KVM switch with cables, 4 network cables, 5m VGA cable, 250GB SATA hard drive, 2 games, all the VALVe posters (6 in total) and got a few nVIDIA Crysis posters. I also got some assorted crap too, including some random IGUK stuff. I may still want some more stuff, if anything catches my eye when I’m in the shop next (picking up my tables most probably) I might get whatever it is.

So this 17″ TFT now replaces an old 17″ CRT as my second monitor. I may buy an identical 17″ TFT off someone else who bought a PC from the e-cafe. Once I get my tables home and setup, I plan on using my KVM somewhere, still don’t know where yet, although I do have about 4-5 PC’s here that I sometimes use.

So, my major plan right now, to re-built my own little bit of Alias in my room, bringing my home from home… home. Wish I could have got one of the sofas, but I would never be able to get that home, nor have any space for it anywhere.

Well, I hope I will keep in contact with all the true regulars at Alias, I have them all on xfire and some on MSN. Plans to invade a cafe with laptops are under way and so are some other more awesome plans too, info soon

Will miss you guys… Kyle, Kyron, Chris, Rich, Paul, Karl, Simon, Matt, Jay, Rachel, Craig, Owen, James. Maybe even Ryan, Josh, Darren, Gavin and those random Saturday kids that nobody cares about.
And especially Richard Saunders, for being the best damn Internet cafe owner evar, a great guy, great friend, and for a short time, great boss. OMG, and Ross Saunders, can’t for get him, w00t

Some sad news. Alias Computers, the Internet/gaming cafe in Bridgend is closing on Saturday. So, I’m going to have to find a new home from home :(. Either that or get a new job, and find a place to live in Bridgend with a few friends, and allow all our friends from Alias to come visit at any time, lol. Would be great to have a new place to hang out, however that does not seem very likely at all unless me make our own place. Maybe just keep a website online, but some people don’t have net at home

So I have decided to switch to WordPress, mainly because I really can’t be bothered to make my own blog software with all the other work I have going on, and I could never make anything as good as WordPress. I have also put this blog on its own subdomain as I plan on turning my main site mainly into a portfolio for my software engineering, games development and web development work.
